Two Time QB Play of the Week |
Quarterbacks have the potential for the largest bang for your buck in Fanduel weekly leagues. While Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers will be bad asses for an entire season there are weeks when they will be outperformed by the EJ Manuel and Tim Tebow's of the world.
Andy Dalton - $7,700
Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals welcome the Green Bay Packers to town this Sunday and I fully expect this to be a throw-fest for both QBs (Rodgers costs $2,100 more by the way). Both QBs have top notch wide receivers this week, both have solid complimentary players and both have strong arms.
I suspect Dalton will have a great day against a Packers D that has allowed a lot of passing yards in the first two weeks the NFL season (they're ranked 30th in the league in passing yards allowed). I think the Packers will win, but Dalton will toss the ball over creation trying to keep it close. You'll get top notch QB play for mid range cost.
Prediction: 315 yards passing and 3 passing TDs. 20 rushing yards.
Matt Schaub- $6,800
Even if Andre Johnson sits with a concussion the Texans are built for both the run and the pass and they get a Baltimore team at home that hasn't been the same legendary defense. The Ravens are currently 25th in the league allowing 320 passing yards per game.
Schaub will have a nice day and outplay many QBs that cost $1,000 more than he does this week. Start him and smile.
Prediction: 290 yards passing and 1 TD.
Sam Bradford -$7,300
Sam Bradford makes this list for the second week in a row, but this time will cost you $300 more. His 26.58 points gave him a starring role in my NFL Week 2 Fanduel Hits column. This week he goes up against the Dallas Cowboys who average over 300 passing yards allowed.
I expect him to get into a shootout with the Romo this week and get Chris Givens and Tavon Austin heavily involved. Bradford will post a nice stat line that will make him a value play.
Prediction: 285 passing yards and 2 TDs.
