Fanduel Plays of the Week: Wide Receivers.
Wide Receiver is the position that makes or breaks your daily fantasy fortunes. Sure a stud running back or quarterback can build you a solid foundation, but WR remains the deepest position in fantasy football. Any week a $4,500 receiver can blow up. See Eddie Royal the last two weeks. Each week I will bring you three receivers that cost under $7,000, but have the potential to blow up.
Dwayne Bowe - $6,700
Somewhere Over Dwayne Bowe will have a field day this week against Philly's craptastic D. The big man will open up the passing game for Any Reid and Alex Smith, allowing Charles to be a beast.
Bowe will prove that he can and is a #1 receiver. He'll toss the boys in Philly around and help make Coach Reod's return to Philly a happy one.
Projections: 110 yards receiving and 1 TD. (I wouldn't be shocked if he had 2)
Julian Edelman - $6,700
Edelman had a huge week one and a damn fine week two. Gron may be back this week, which wuill only help Edelman get more open. Not that he needs it. Amendola is out, Dobson and Thompkins do not have Tom Brady's confidence. He'll be a beast regardless. Even if Revis covers him (Revis on a slot? Not gonna happen).
Tampa is a middle of the road pass D. The Jets are better and they let Edelman catch 13 balls. I see another 10 catch performance for the Lil' Guy from Kent State.
Projections: 95 receiving yards and 1 TD. 20 rushing yards.
Tavon Austin - $5,900
The potential Big Play hero has his first two TDs last week an neither were the pretty long bomb we've been led to expect from him. This is the week we see him explode.
Dallas is primed to let Austin get behind them at least once. He'll prove he was worth hi high pick this week and many more going forward.
Projections: 100 Receiving yards and 1 TD. 40 rushing yards.
Other Solid Options:T.Y. Hilton at $5,800. Miles Austin at $6,100. Josh Gordon at $5,500
